How Well Do You Know Aaron Till?

How well do you know 50 Shades Of Hay? We've been spotlighting a different band member every week. Our sixth and final profile is Aaron Till. Come to The Nashville Palace this Sunday, Dec. 11 from 4:30-8pm -- and maybe Aaron will share his pecan pie recipe with you. Here are a few things you may not know about Aaron:

• I've also played or recorded with: Mark Chesnutt, Pam Tillis, Asleep At The Wheel, Jerry Reed, Mel McDaniel, Tanya Tucker, Joe Diffie, Ronnie McDowell, Wade Hayes, The Mavericks, Raul Malo, Tommy Emmanuel, Jim and Jesse & the Virginia Boys, J.D. Crowe & the New South, The Nashville Bluegrass Band, Jim Lauderdale, Charlie McCoy.
• Musical heroes: Bill Monroe, Bob Wills, Svend Asmussen, Stuff Smith, Stéphane Grappelli, Kenny Baker, Vassar Clements, Fritz Kreisler, Merle Travis, Brian Setzer, Eddie Cochran, Carl Perkins, The Beatles, Elvis Presley.
• Oddest gig: It's a tie. (1) Strolling violinist at a French restaurant in Ellicott City, Maryland on Bastille Day. Tried to keep the atmosphere as elegant as possible. Several people wanted to hear Orange Blossom Special. (2) A fall festival at a large produce and garden center. We played on a mule-drawn hay wagon taking parents and children for rides around the property. We played mostly "Old MacDonald" for 3 hours.
• Favorite quote: Composer Max Reger: "I'm sitting in the smallest room in my house. I have your review in front of me. Soon it will be behind me."
• Non-musical skills/interests: Reading books, drinking scotch, spending money. I'm told I make a good pecan pie.
